Terms of Use

Last updated:

These Terms of Use are the rules for using Sticko: the Sticko app for Android and iPhone and the website at sticko.app. Sticko is made by HQ Infosystem, 425, Silver Stone Arcade, Beside DMart, Singanpore, Surat 395004, Gujarat, India. In these terms, "Sticko", "we" and "us" mean HQ Infosystem, and "you" means the person using Sticko.

By using Sticko you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Content Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Sticko.

1. Sticko and WhatsApp

Sticko is a library of sticker packs that you can browse, make and add to WhatsApp. Sticko is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC. We use the name only to describe what Sticko works with. How WhatsApp itself works, and what it allows, is up to WhatsApp.

2. Who can use Sticko

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sticko. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they agree to these terms for you. You must also be allowed to use Sticko under the laws where you live.

3. Your account

You can browse sticko.app without an account. To upload packs in the app, you need one. You can sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or an email address and password.

  • Give true information, and do not pretend to be another person or organisation.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Do not create accounts to get around a suspension or ban.

You can delete your account at any time. Our Delete Your Sticko Account page explains how, and what gets removed.

4. Your content

You own what you upload. Sticker packs, the images and GIFs in them, pack names and your profile stay yours.

So that Sticko can work, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, convert, display and distribute your content, in the app, on sticko.app and in search results, and to let other people add your public packs to WhatsApp. The companies that host and run Sticko for us can use this licence only to provide that service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already added to their own WhatsApp, which we cannot remove.

When you upload something, you promise that you made it or have the right to share it, and that sharing it on Sticko does not break anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.

5. Packs go live straight away

A pack is published the moment you upload it. There is no review step before it goes live, so you are responsible for what you post. We act afterwards: we remove content that breaks these terms or the Content Policy when it is reported to us or when we find it.

6. What you must not upload or do

The Content Policy has the full rules. In short, do not upload or share:

  • nudity, pornography or sexual content;
  • anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers children;
  • hate speech, or content that threatens, harasses or bullies people;
  • violence, or content that promotes self-harm or suicide;
  • photos, phone numbers or other personal details of people who did not agree to it;
  • content that copies someone else's work without permission;
  • spam, scams, or false information meant to mislead;
  • anything that is illegal where you live or in India.

Also, do not try to hack, overload or break Sticko, do not scrape it with bots, and do not interfere with other people's use of it.

To report a pack or an account, email support@sticko.app or use our contact form, and include the link to the pack or profile.

7. Removing content and closing accounts

We may remove any content, or limit, suspend or close any account, if it breaks these terms or the Content Policy, if the law requires it, or if it puts our users or Sticko at risk. For serious or repeated problems we may do this without warning. If you think we made a mistake, email support@sticko.app and we will look at it again.

8. Copyright complaints

If you think a pack on Sticko uses your work without permission, follow the steps in our DMCA Policy. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of people who infringe again and again.

9. Content from other people and other services

Packs on Sticko are made by our users, not by us. We do not check them before they go live, and they do not show our views. GIF search in the app is provided by GIPHY and KLIPY, and their GIFs are covered by their own terms. Ads in Sticko come from the ad networks named in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for other companies' content, ads, products or websites.

10. Ads and the ad removal subscription

Sticko is free to use and shows ads. You can pay to remove the ads in the app. Ad removal is the only thing you can buy in Sticko.

  • Ad removal is an auto-renewing subscription. The price and how often you pay are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You manage and cancel the subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings, not in Sticko.
  • Deleting your Sticko account or the app does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own rules.

11. Changes to Sticko

We keep improving Sticko, so features may change, be added or be removed. We may also stop offering Sticko, in whole or in part. You may need to update the app to keep using it.

12. No guarantees

Sticko is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or work with every device or every version of WhatsApp.

13. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or content, arising from your use of Sticko or from what other users do. If we are found responsible for a loss, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for Sticko in the month before the claim.

You agree to cover our costs and losses, including reasonable legal fees, if someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded, your breach of these terms, or your breaking someone else's rights.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under laws that cannot be changed by an agreement.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about Sticko or these terms will be handled by the courts of Surat, Gujarat.

15. Grievance Officer

Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you can raise a complaint about content on Sticko, your data or these terms with our Grievance Officer:

  • Email: support@sticko.app
  • Address: Grievance Officer, HQ Infosystem, 425, Silver Stone Arcade, Beside DMart, Singanpore, Surat 395004, Gujarat, India
  • Office hours: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

We acknowledge and resolve complaints within the time the Rules require.

16. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date shown on this page. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the app. If you keep using Sticko after a change, you accept the new terms.
