Quick answer
Christmas Day 2026 falls on Friday, 25 December. To send Christmas stickers on WhatsApp, pick a pack below, open it in the free Sticko app and tap Add to WhatsApp — the pack then sits under the sticker icon in every chat. WhatsApp also publishes its own seasonal packs in the in-app Sticker Store, reachable from the + in the sticker tray.

Christmas 2026 dates
| Day | Date |
|---|---|
| Christmas Eve | Thursday, 24 December 2026 |
| Christmas Day | Friday, 25 December 2026 |
| Boxing Day | Saturday, 26 December 2026 |
| New Year's Eve | Thursday, 31 December 2026 |
Christmas Day is a fixed date, so it moves weekday each year — in 2026 it lands on a Friday, which puts Christmas Eve on the Thursday evening when most wishes get sent. Adding a pack a few days early is worth doing: the pack has to be installed before you can use it in a chat, and nobody wants to be downloading one at midnight.
Adding a Christmas pack to WhatsApp
- Pick a pack from the grid below and open its page.
- Tap Get Sticker. That opens the pack in the free Sticko app, installing it first if you do not have it.
- Tap Add to WhatsApp. WhatsApp shows a confirmation dialog with the pack and publisher name.
- Open any chat, tap the sticker icon, and the pack is there under My Stickers.
WhatsApp does not allow a sticker pack to install straight from a browser — Apple and Google both require the import to come from an installed app. That is why the step above goes through the Sticko app rather than a download button on this page.
Animated or static
Animated Christmas stickers — falling snow, a waving Santa, a tree lighting up — work in WhatsApp on both iPhone and Android, as long as WhatsApp is current. A pack is either entirely animated or entirely static; WhatsApp does not allow the two to be mixed inside one pack, so a pack page tells you which kind it is before you install it.
WhatsApp's documented ceiling for an animated sticker is a total duration of 10 seconds. In practice the good ones are a second or two: a sticker is a reaction, and a long loop reads as a video.

WhatsApp only accepts sticker packs from an installed app, so the last step always happens outside the browser. Sticko is free on Android and iPhone, and adds any pack to WhatsApp in a couple of taps.
