Quick answer
WhatsApp cannot install sticker packs directly from a website — Android and iOS both require the import to come from an installed app. Open the pack in a sticker app such as Sticko, tap Add to WhatsApp, and confirm the dialog. The pack then appears in WhatsApp under the emoji icon → Stickers → My Stickers.
Why a browser cannot install a pack for you
Every third-party sticker pack reaches WhatsApp through an official import handshake. WhatsApp exposes that handshake to installed applications only — there is no web equivalent, on Android or on iOS. This is a platform rule rather than a limitation of any particular sticker site, and it is why sticker catalogues ship companion apps.
In practice this means browsing and choosing happens on the web, and the final import happens in an app. You only have to install that app once; after that, adding a pack takes a couple of taps.
Adding a sticker pack on Android
- Open the pack you want on the web and tap the Android download button. The Play Store opens on the sticker app's listing.
- Install the app, then open it. The pack you came from is already selected.
- Tap Add to WhatsApp. WhatsApp shows a confirmation dialog naming the pack and its publisher.
- Tap Add. The import completes immediately — there is no download progress bar.
- Open any chat, tap the emoji icon, then the Stickers tab. Your new pack sits in the tray at the bottom.
If WhatsApp does not appear as an option, it is usually not installed under the profile you are currently using — work profiles and secondary users each have their own WhatsApp installation.
Adding a sticker pack on iPhone
- Tap the iOS download button on the pack page. The App Store opens on the sticker app's listing.
- Install and open the app, then choose the pack.
- Tap Add to WhatsApp and confirm the dialog WhatsApp presents.
- In WhatsApp, open a chat, tap the sticker icon above the keyboard, then My Stickers.
The flow is identical to Android; only the store and the position of the sticker button differ. On iOS the sticker button sits in the row above the keyboard rather than inside the emoji panel.
Where the pack appears afterwards
Added packs live in one place: the sticker tray inside any chat. On Android that is the emoji icon → Stickers → My Stickers; on iPhone it is the sticker icon above the keyboard → My Stickers. Packs are ordered with the most recently added first, so a new pack is normally at the top of the tray.
Stickers are attached to your WhatsApp installation, not to your account. Moving to a new phone means re-adding your packs there, even if you restored a chat backup.
Removing a sticker pack
- Open any chat and go to the sticker tray.
- Long-press the pack's tray icon (Android) or open My Stickers and swipe on the pack (iPhone).
- Choose Delete. The pack is removed from WhatsApp but stays available in the sticker app, so you can re-add it later without downloading anything again.
