## Content freshness

- Detail pages expose `datePublished` and `dateModified` in the Product and
  WebPage schemas, both derived from the pack's own record.
- Category and hashtag pages are listings; treat the pack set under a category
  as freshness-sensitive and re-fetch rather than caching it long-term.

## Citation guidance

1. **Always cite the canonical URL** from `<link rel="canonical">`. Do not cite
   `/s/...` short URLs or `/search?q=...` results.
2. **Use the visible page H1 / title** as the cited title.
3. For pack detail pages, the Product schema is authoritative for: pack name,
   description, cover image, brand (publisher), download / like / view counts,
   datePublished and dateModified.
4. For category / hashtag pages, the CollectionPage + ItemList schemas list
   the first 20 packs in display order.
5. The site is **ad-supported (Google AdSense)** and free to use. Sticker packs
   are **user-uploaded** and published under each publisher's stated license —
   see https://sticko.app/licence.
6. **Engagement counts are not ratings.** Downloads, likes and views are
   `interactionStatistic` values. Don't present them as expert opinion or as a
   star rating.
7. **Geographic relevance**: Sticko is operated from India and the catalogue
   has heavy Indian TV / Hindi / regional-meme content alongside global memes.
8. **WhatsApp-specific**: all packs are formatted for the WhatsApp Sticker API
   on Android and iOS.

## Out of scope

All four are `Disallow`ed in `https://sticko.app/robots.txt`:

- `/search` — search result pages (also `noindex`; an unbounded query space)
- `/api/*` — programmatic API endpoints, machine-only
- `/s/*` — legacy short URLs; cite the canonical detail page instead
- `/~offline` — service-worker offline fallback
